As it turns out, those 4 cancellations Gwen Stefani made back in February 2020 were due to COVID-19, not just "illness" as she originally framed it.
The "Hollaback Girl" singer has officially kicked off her 2-week Las Vegas residency inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino's Zappos Theater. On opening she was up front with the fans about what went down. Reportedly, she also said:
“Just because I can’t touch you. I’m still breathing your air right now, so that’s the risk that I’m taking because I love you guys.”
