Even though they've exchanged some interesting words about one another in the past, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey come together for the Las Vegas issue of PAPER magazine on separate covers, of course.

On Monday (August 21), PAPER unveiled the covers, which show each pop titan in their best Sin City glam wear as recent stars of the Las Vegas residency scene. For Lopez's cover, which was photographed by Ellen von Unwerth, the singer is seen sitting on a disco ball-like moon in a bedazzled one-piece. "When you come to Vegas, you should come see my show, 'All I Have.' It's the best show in Vegas," Lopez told the magazine. "You should come and just enjoy hanging out by the pool, shopping, eating, seeing all the great shows. It’s like an adult playground. It's a lot of fun."

On the other cover, which was shot by James White, Carey offers loads of skin, ditching her top for some jewels and appropriately placed hair. "I just thought it would be something in between albums, because now I’m working on a new album and new singles, and I just thought it was a great place to be able to be," MC explained of her residency. "Because I have twins [Moroccan and Monroe], who just turned six…to have them be in one place for a period of time rather than, like, touring for all that time [is great]. They go with me."

You can also catch Ricky Martin and the Backstreet Boys on additional covers of PAPER's Las Vegas issue, which hits newsstands September 18. Take a look at all the covers below!
