VeritageMiami is a four-day gathering where wine, spirits, beer and food lovers join with top sommeliers, notable chefs, prestigious wineries, winemakers and breweries to eat, drink and unite all for a greater purpose. VeritageMiami benefits United Way of Miami-Dade, and has raised more than $12 million, supporting programs in our community that are focused on improving education, financial stability and health - the building blocks for a good life.
- A Craft Beer Tasting at Wynwood Walls, on Wednesday, October 5 - more than 140 top-notch local, regional and national brews, complemented by delicious bites from dozens of South Florida restaurants, with the artsy, mural –adorned, Wynwood Walls as the backdrop at this walk-around, tasting event. Tickets are $75 per person VIP admission; $55 per person general admission. Participating restaurants include: Edge Steak and Bar, Happy Wine, Joey’s, KYU, Proof Pizza & Pasta, Pincho Factory, Shake Shack, Spring Chicken, The Dutch Miami and Wynwood Kitchen and Bar.
- A Fine Wine Tasting at the Shops at Merrick Park on October 6 - Enjoy an unparalleled variety of nearly 400 wines from around the world, paired with innovative dishes prepared by some of South Florida’s top chefs. The French Horn Collective will bring live entertainment to the event. Tickets are $150 per person VIP admission; $75 per person general admission. Participating restaurants include: Bocce, Bulla Gastrobar, DIRT, Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market, Glass and Vine, Pinch Kitchen, STK Miami, Swine Southern Table & Bar, Uvaggio Wine Bar & Restaurant, and Zest.
- Interactive Dinner at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami on October 7 - considered one of the year’s most unique culinary experiences – guests will team up and cook a three-course meal under the tutelage of Bravo’s “Top Chef” season 13 winner, Jeremy Ford, who also serves as the chef de cuisine at The Miami Beach EDITION'S Matador Room by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Johnson & Wales University students will serve as sous chefs, helping guests at each table, and the dinner is accompanied by Best in Glass gold and silver medal wines, which were previously selected by some of South Florida’s top sommeliers. Tickets are $500 per person; $4,000 per table of eight.
- Auction & Bubbly Brunch at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, on Sunday, October 9 - VeritageMiami’s brand new event, features a Perrier Jouët Champagne Reception, followed by a delicious family-style southern brunch, prepared by John Kunkel and his 50 Eggs Inc. team of James Beard-nominated and award-winning restaurants - Yardbird Southern Table and Bar, Swine Southern Table and Bar and the newly opened Spring Chicken. Unique bourbon cocktails will emphasize the southern heritage of the dishes being served, and one-of-a-kind experiences will be auctioned off. Guests can also enjoy a sampling of bourbon and rye whiskies, thanks to Heaven Hill Distilleries. Tickets are $500 per person; $5,000 per table of 10.
