Prince George Takes After Princess Diana With His Ballet Lessons

Like grandmother, like grandson.

Prince William recently revealed the one special way his oldest son, Prince George, reminds him of his late mother, Princess Diana, and it's so sweet. During the Radio 1 Teen Heroes reception at Kensington Palace last week, the Duke of Cambridge opened up about 5-year-old George's favorite activity. While speaking with a 14-year-old named Junior, a break dancer, and advocate against bullying, William said, "George is doing dancing as well" and that "he loves it."

George is learning all about dance at his school, Thomas Battersea, which requires students to take ballet lessons. According to Shared, students take a 35-minute ballet lesson every week, accompanied by a live pianist, to helps the kids develop their stamina, musicality, and creativity.

"My mother always used to dance, [she] loved dancing," William went on to say. He also added, "And if it’s something you love, you do what you love. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it."

Prince George isn't the only Cambridge kid who loves to dance, either. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also spoken about their daughter Princess Charlotte's passion for the activity. According to her parents, Charlotte "absolutely loves" to dance. Once 6-month-old Prince Louis is old enough, his siblings are sure to teach him a few moves.

While it's terribly sad that George, Charlotte, and Louis won't get the chance to meet their beloved grandmother, it must be so nice for William to see parts of his mom reflected in his children.
