It's not uncommon for Halsey to have a spur-of-the-moment Q&A session with her fans on Twitter. The “Graveyard” singer recently answered a few questions about her upcoming album, Manic and it's getting me even more excited to hear the rest of the songs!
Yesterday afternoon (November 10), a fan Tweeted the 25-year-old singer asking if her third album was better than her debut album, Badlands.
Much to the surprise of the fan and her other Twitter followers, not only did the singer answer the fan but she had a surprising answer for them. “My friends and I think so,” she replied. But have no fear, it's not because she thinks her debut album is bad, “it’s just a different thing. it’s sooooooo real.”
Another fan followed up asking the singer if any of the songs on the album will sound like “Clementine” — which she released to celebrate her 25th birthday. “No 2 songs on the album are alike!” she revealed to fans.
If you've listened to Badlands and hopeless fountain kingdom, you're definitely used to the theatrics Halsey weaves within her music, especially the latter's “Romeo and Juliet“ theme. To give fans one more hint about Manic she retweeted a fan asking if her third album would have the same theatrical theme as her previous releases. “Not necessarily. In a weird way it is. It gets very grand and delusional and colorful at times. And then some times it’s very *tiny voice* and straight up. It’s called MANIC!!! Haha.”
So there you have it, a small glimpse into what we can expect Manic to sound like once it's out on January 17, 2020 — only 67 more days!
