T.I. To Address His Comments On Daughter's Virginity On 'Red Table Talk'

T.I. is coming to the table.

On Monday (November 18), Jada Pinkett Smith announced that Tip will be the next guest on her Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk, where he will address his recent controversial comments regarding his daughter's virginity

"My next big guest is Tip. T.I. is coming to the table. Yes indeed," Jada told Entertainment Tonight. "And of course, he's going to address the controversy that has been swirling." She added, "We just shot that [episode] today. And then he and [his wife] Tiny [sat] down and [talked] about how they survived, in regards to their marriage. So that will be next Monday [November 25]."

T.I. has been criticized for weeks over comments he made on an episode of the Ladies Like Us podcast earlier this month. During the interview, he told the hosts Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham that he visits the gynecologist with his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah to "check her hymen" and ensure she's still a virgin.

"Right after the birthday, we celebrate...usually the day after the party, she's enjoying her gifts, I put a sticky note on the door, 'Gyno, tomorrow, 9:30,'" the "Whatever You Like" rapper shared. "We'll go and sit down and the doctor will come and talk, and you know, the doctors maintain a high level of professionalism. He's like, 'Well, you know sir, in order for me to share information...' I say, 'Deyjah they want you to sign this...so we can share information. Is there anything that you would not want me to know?'"

"I said, 'Look doc, she don't ride no horses, she don't ride no bike, she don't play no sports, man, just check the hymen please and give me back my results, expeditiously," T.I. recalled while laughing. "But I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact."

T.I.'s comments sparked outrage on social media, with celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Iggy Azalea (to name of few) voicing their disapproval on Twitter.

The podcast's hosts also denounced Tip's comments and apologized for their "knee jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic."
