Mariah Carey Wants 'All I Want For Christmas' To Finally Reach #1 This Year

Since its debut in 1994, Mariah Carey's iconic holiday tune "All I Want For Christmas" has hit the Billboard charts practically every year. Here we are 25 years later and, even as a 3X Guinness Record-Breaking song, it hasn't ever reached #1 on the Hot 100 ever though. This week, 'AIWFCIY' is at its highest position it's ever been at, #3, with The Weeknd and Post Malone holding the 2 positions above her.

MC has been pulling out all the stops, promoting any and everywhere she can to make it happen this year. She's even doing autographed copies!

And what's this... a 25-year anniversary music video maybe...?

We're thinking it may be a tough week for Mariah though, as Juice Wrld is dominating streaming and sales after his unfortunate death this past weekend. According to BuzzAngle Music, his posthumous streams have climbed nearly 500%, wow!

We'll see how this works out for MC...
