Burger King's Moldy Whopper Commercial Is Suppose To Sell More Whoopers...

Burger King is trying to get us to buy more Whoopers by showing us a moldy Whooper and I think it's working...

There's a myth that McDonald's hamburgers are famous for apparently never getting moldy, and Burger King is playing off that fact in a new ad.

This new BK commercial shows a Whopper going from day one to day 34, and it’s covered in mold by day 34.

Why did they do this??? Well the commercial's ending line probably explains everything, "The beauty of no artificial preservatives. We believe that real food tastes better. That's why we are working hard to remove preservatives, colors and flavors from artificial sources from the food we serve in all countries around the world.”

Burger King says preservative-free Whoppers are available in more than 400 stores across the US.

Right now, more than 90% of its ingredients in the US have no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. That number will be 100% by the end of the year.

Now why did I say it's working? Traditionally, seeing food go bad in a commercial isn't the way to go unless you live in today's world where everyone has become more health conscious and making better decisions about the foods they eat.
