Drive-Thru Available In Miami-Dade For Those Seeking Unemployment Benefits

If you or someone you know is having trouble applying for unemployment benefits, there's a drive-thru center open in Miami-Dade County passing out applications in English, Spanish, and Creole as well as pre-stamped envelopes for applicants to send their documents off to the capital.

Many have tried the website, but with no luck. NBC 6 reports:

“I tried to call in online, but then it told me I had to call this number because of my PIN, I tried a few other things, to try to reset it, but they just said the only thing I can do is call the number,” said Jacob Dizorney, one of the thousands of people in the state who has found themselves out of work during the pandemic.

The center is located at Gibson Park, 401 NW 12th Street. It opened Tuesday from 9a to 12p. More here:
