Uber Donates $50,000 In Rides To Hialeah Residents

Uber has donated $50,000 in rides to Hialeah residents who have been impacted by the coronavirus, or at-risk like seniors or those with underlying conditions. You can start using the free ride program today until June 30th. The rides are for a trip to the doctors office, banks, work, pharmacies, and grocery stores. To get your code, you must call Hope Mission Center on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at (305) 456-1514.

Senator Garcia made the announcement on Twitter yesterday saying, "COVID-19 continues to present new and unprecedented challenges throughout our communities. Starting tomorrow, @Uber is stepping up to provide FREE essential rides for residents in #Hialeah impacted by the virus. FREE rides May 6th - June 30th."
