Gov. Ron DeSantis has approved Miami-Dade and Broward’s request to reopen.
At a press conference in Doral, Thursday, the Governor gave both counties the green light to begin reopening according to the draft of guidelines they set in place earlier this week.
The draft provided rules and guidance for hotels, restaurants, retailers, nail, and hair salons.
According to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez restaurants would operate at no more than 50% capacity however, beaches, hotels, bars, nightclubs, concert venues and movie theaters would remain closed in the initial reopening phase.
