Taylor Swift, who's never been shy to show pride in hr home state of Tennessee, is actually publicly declaring disappointment in the the state amidst the GeorgeFloyd/Black Lives Matter protests. The "Bad Blood" singer posted a thread to Twitter explaining why Tennessee shouldn't spend its residents' tax dollars on showing it's against progress by replacing the statues and monuments that glorify confederate figures.
"Villains don't deserve statues" was among the things Tay-Tay said in hopes of shedding light on her plea. Read more below:
