Scammer Claiming To Be Bruno Mars Scams Woman Out Of $100,000

Two men are being held in Harris County, Texas following a scheme that cost a 63-year-old woman a total of $100,000.

Chiwendu Azuonwu was found to be involved in a scam where he claimed to be Bruno Mars and wooed the lady into thinking she found romance with the singer. He first asked for $10,000, and then $90,000... bringing the total earnings in the scam to a whopping $100,000. The man reportedly had an accomplice by the name of Basil Amadi who offered his bank account to make the thing happen.
