A Florida woman is behind bars after not posting her $4,000 bond following an attack on her roommate... with a cat!
The arrest report explains how Wendi Hird, 56, used her pet feline to hit her platonic companion (but former lover) in the face. He's 73 years old. Battery on a person 65 or older is a felony. So there's that. Reportedly, the incident began as a verbal thing but escalated. Turns out there had been a similar dispute between the two back in 2018 but charges were dropped.
The cat was unharmed. LOL... poor kitty.
