Nike Files Lawsuit Over Lil Nas X's Custom 'Satan' Shoes

The drama surrounding Lil Nas X's custom Satan Nike shoes continues...

The chart-topping 21-year-old is no stranger to being in the headlines, but this time it's not looking too good. Nike has officially filed legal documents to get MSCHF Product Studio to permanently stop making the custom Satan Air Max 97s.

A limited amount of 666 pairs went up for sale yesterday and they immediately sold out. Nike argued:

“In the short time since the announcement of the Satan Shoes, Nike has suffered significant harm to its goodwill, including among consumers who believe that Nike is endorsing satanism."

Meanwhile, it's being reported that the head of the Satanic church is down for the cause! LOL. David Harris says the polarizing pair “embrace the essence of Satanism” which apparently includes “being your true self, living life to the fullest and personal achievement."

Were you one the lucky few to snag a pair? Do you think X's career will differ from this legality issue?
