Some confusion and drama involving J Balvin this week!
The Colombian singer was the winner of the African Entertainment Awards "Best Afro-Latino Artist" category... this upset people who felt he didn't represent this category properly. AE Awards originally stood by their decision, but eventually took to social media to explain that they heard the opinions and changed the category name. This, again, garnered backlash because some felt they changed the category to retain the winner as opposed to finding a better fit for the original category.
