The Recording Academy's GRAMMY Awards Postponed Due To Omicron Concerns

“Given the uncertainty surrounding the Omicron variant, holding the show on January 31st simply contains too many risks. We look forward to celebrating Music’s Biggest Night on a future date, which will be announced soon."

And you know what? We don't blame them...

"Music's biggest night," the Recording Academy's GRAMMY Awards Show has been postponed as expected. The Academy and CBS released a joint statement. Too much uncertainty and waayyy too much money in the building to take a chance. Assuming they keep the event at the Crypto.Com Arena in Los Angeles, it's looking like we won't get a show until summer time! (The Clippers, Lakers, and Kings have the arena booked until after April.)

The full statement can be found on their site: HERE.
