Adele Cancels Vegas Residency With 24-Hour Notice, Addresses On Instagram

Sorry Adele fans, no Vegas for now...

The "Easy on Me" singer took to Instagram to address cancelling her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas. The water works were heavy. But of course, this news with just 24-hour notice will certainly affect thousands.

Reportedly, front row seats cost more than $6000. Adele did not reserve a single seat for guests or VIPs. Everybody was expected to pay. The cheapest tickets to the show went for more than $100. Those seats were half a football field away from the stage. All 24 shows were sold out. Adele collected at least $50 million. Caesars Palace expected blockbuster business every weekend through April with luxury suites filled.

She said: “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time. I can’t give you what I have, right now.”
