Two pigs in Hialeah were pardoned ahead of the Noche Buena festivities.
Just like with turkeys being pardoned by the President before Thanksgiving, two pigs in Hialeah were pardoned by the Mayor meaning they will get to enjoy the holiday for another year.
Mayor Esteban Bovo pardoned Hamilton and Wilbert Wednesday afternoon in a ceremony that took place in Hialeah sparing them from la caja china that we love to pull out every year on Christmas Eve aka Noche Buena (Hispanic Chrismas).
