What a day!! Yesterday I got the chance to go back to my alma mater Miami Senior high for their version of a ted talk called GENLxMHS and what a pleasure and blessing it was at the same time. Three of their students were also asked to do a talk themselves on subjects they had chosen, from globalism, to love and a gun violence talk I sat in the same auditorium I had in my past listening to these three young souls voice their thoughts on subjects the world is trying to fix or find and what an inspiration. The auditorium filled with a little over 500 students and these kids all nailed it. WOW, I thought, I love this school and everything it stands for. See Miami Senior High for me, isn’t just the first school in Miami but a place that molded me and became my sanctuary. As I conveyed my thoughts and passions along with my journey, I realized the journey is far from over but dang it was beautiful. To the students I got to speak to, thank you, because when those lights did turn on and I finally got to see your faces during the Q&A I felt right back at home. Know you are forever a part of a family that has been around for a little over one hundred years now, if ever ya need me holla!
And yes this is the same school Drake decided to film God's plan at earlier this year ... you know just had to put that out there LOLLLLL #stings4life
