It's looking like those new year resolutions may take a quick break. That's right Girl Scout cookie season is here! This year we'll be able to enjoy the classics like Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs. But, i guess in honor of the new decade, the Girls Scouts of America are adding a new flavor to their menu. They're launching a lemon-flavored cookie called Lemon-Ups.
The cookies are said to be crisp, lemon-flavored biscuits, with a layer of sweet glaze on one side to balance out the tartness. Plus, perhaps the coolest part of this cookie is the encouraging message inspired by the mission of the Girl Scouts. Some phrases include: "I'm a leader," "I am an innovator," and "I am a risk-taker." I'd say those phrases are definitely needed today no matter if you're a girls scout or not.
