Just in case you didn't know, there's a new fashion trend happening. Let's just say we're going to have to shop for this new accessory for some time. I'm talking about face masks.
If you don't have yours yet, don't worry. I've got you with a way to look on-trend and help a charity in the process. Yesterday, Universal Music Group announced that they are collaborating with artists to create unique face masks. Who is on the list? Well, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, The Rolling Stones, and more.
The masks will be reusable, washable, cloth face masks and are available through www.wegotyoucoverednow.com, a special e-commerce site. How much? The price is actually very affordable, $15.
Remember I mentioned a charity? Well, all net proceeds will help support those affected by the coronavirus pandemic through various charity partners. Now, you know these artists have a special place int their heart for music, so among those on the list are MusiCares in the U.S. and Help Musicians in the U.K.
According to an announcement, this will be a three-part program. There will be a 50,000 mask contribution to those serving communities across the United States including workers in food banks, school lunch programs, homeless shelters, and other community service providers.
So, what do they look like? It seems like each artist picked something that characterized them. For example, Ariana Grande’s mask features a single teardrop, a link to her hit “No Tears Left to Cry”. And Billie’s mask is her “Blohsh” logo in neon green.
No matter who's your favorite artist, I'm sure we'll see more on the list pretty soon, in the meantime... HAPPY SHOPPING!!
