FIFA announced the American, Mexican, and Canadian cities getting the international soccer games and after years of anticipation, it's now a reality. Miami will be a host city for the 2026 World Cup.

South Florida's location and tourism status helped a lot, plus the fact that a fully renovated Hard Rock Stadium hosted the Super Bowl, international soccer games, and tennis tournaments all helped the city be a shoe-in.

Sadly, Orlando did not make the cut.
