As parents get ready for back-to-school, Miami-Dade and Broward County public schools announced they will serve students free breakfast and lunch for the 2022-23 school year.
If your child goes to Miami-Dade Schools, the county is serving free meals to students under the National School Lunch / School Breakfast Program. Now, for kids starting their school year in Broward Schools, it may be a little different. Students who attend a school that participates in the Community Eligibility Provision are eligible for breakfast and lunch at no charge. Over 160 schools are in this program. Here's the list.
This is a great way to make sure all kids are fed and stay healthy during the school year.
