NFL Honors Queen Elizabeth II During Game

Just hours after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the NFL honored her with a moment of silence.

During the kickoff game on Thursday, the National Football League held a moment of silence right before their season-opening game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams.

Everyone at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California showed their respects and honored the Queen, whose message was unity and peace. She inspired people throughout the world for many generations.

Queen Elizabeth II, 96, was Britain's longest-serving monarch with a 70-year reign. According to an official statement shared by her eldest son, Charles, The Queen died Thursday peacefully at Balmoral.

Charles will now take the throne and serve as king.
