Traveling could be part of your plan for 2023. But, flight cancellations and delays may put a damper on those plans. If that wasn't enough, now living in South Florida could add another little hiccup.
Vacation experts at Family Destinations Guide have used data from the Bureau of Transportations Statistics to reveal the best and worst airports for travel in the US in 2022. They factored in cancellations, delays, and flight operations.
Florida, we aren't looking too hot. We had four of the top 5 worst airports for travel.
WORST:
1. Orlando International Airport
2. Newark Liberty International Airport
3. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
4. Tampa International Airport
5. Miami International Airport
On the other side, the top BEST airports are:
1. Salt Lake City International Airport
2. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport
3. Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
4. Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport
5. Detroit Metropolitan Airport
