Hey animal and art lovers, there's a new cat and dog sculpture exhibit in Miami! The exhibit is at Ferré Park, located right next to the Pérez Art Museum Miami.
More than 50 local artists have helped make the project a reality. There are 57 sculptures as of its launch, which includes a flower pattern cat, a rainbow poodle, and even a dalmatian with a firefighter hat. The walkway’s largest statue is a massive Labrador named Chócolo that's painted with butterflies and flowers surrounded by smaller puppies and kittens. The walkway was paid by city, and it was almost $900k.
You know I love things are affordable and this exhibit is free. Plus, it's here to stay, representatives say it's a permanent addition to the 305. So, make it part of your weekend plans or maybe a date night walk in the park.
