Uber Offers New Feature For Miami-Dade Parents

Sometimes parents get busy with day-to-day things and picking up kids or getting them food could get tricky. Uber is here to help with that. The ride-sharing company announced that it has launched a new feature for parents of teenagers in the Miami area.

A parent or guardian can now invite their teen to create an Uber account that will allow them to request their own rides and order food. Don't worry, this will all be done with parental supervision and you'll get to see everything happening on your phone.

To create a teen account on Uber first open the app, then a parent or guardian must send an invite to their teen to create an account. Once your teen gets the invite, they'll receive a link to download the app, create their own account, and complete the mandatory safety onboarding process. A teen account can be set up for children ages 13 to 17 through a family profile in the Uber app.
