As November draws closer, it was only a matter of time before Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden had to announce his running mate and the news is huge – he selected California Senator Kamala Harris.
Harris, whose ethnic roots can be traced back to India and Jamaica, would be the first black female Vice President should they take the big win at the end of this year! Some political officials from Florida, such as Val Demings, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Miami's own Debbie Mucarsel-Powell had nothing but great things to say about Biden's selection.
