The Weeknd Still Not Interested In The GRAMMYs, Even After Public Apology

The Weeknd has seen much success with his latest album After Hours. Three singles from the project, "Heartless," "Blinding Lights," and "Save Your Tears," went up to #1 and across 3 years (from 2019 to 2021.)

Only one other artist has done this before – Janet Jackson in 1989, 1990, and 1991.

And even with this amazing success and accomplishment, somehow The Weeknd was still snubbed for a GRAMMY this year. He vowed to never submit music again, and the Recording Academy in turn apologized for its sneaky politics. Turns out even after the apology, Abel still isn't interested.

Friday, he told Variety:

“I remain uninterested in being a part of theGrammys, especially with their own admission of corruption for all these decades. I will not be submitting in the future.”
