Some Miami Cell Phone Users Won't Be Able To Use 5G Due To Air Safety

For some of us in Miami and Broward, the national rollout of 5G service won't come today with the rest of the country. This is making headlines following concerns of air traffic safety and how the 5G would affect airplanes' ability to land and function.

According to NBC6, it's come down to government stepping in:

The solution the White House announced Wednesday means in South Florida, AT&T and Verizon won't be turning on the 5G cell towers that are located near the airports at Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach. Cell users within about a two-mile radius of the airports are going to have to wait.
