ICYMI: Elon Musk now owns Twitter.

One of the new things Musk is bringing to the platform is a subscription service to the coveted "blue check" mark. Essentially , it's not for you to "earn" anymore either through being an official public figure or influencer. Rather, you can now be "verified" on Twitter for $20 a month.  BTW - under Elon's new plan, being verified on Twitter costs more than a plan on Netflix with no ads.

Those who are presently verified on the platform will have 90 days to subscribe to the new Twitter Blue plan once it goes into effect, or they will risk losing their verification.

Would you pay $20 a month to be "verified"?
