Miami Gardens Is Making Its Way To The Metaverse

Miami Gardens is the latest city to enter the Metaverse. The city partnered up with South Florida marketing and advertising firm The Mosaic Group and streaming platform Ceek Metaverse to create the world.

This new venture into the online platform is believed to be the first of its kind for any South Florida city. You can choose to interact with the world in either 2D or in 360.

Locations in the Miami Gardens Metaverse include Andover Park, City Hall, Calder Casino and Hard Rock Stadium.

Eventually, the goal is to connect people with local businesses and restaurants virtually. This is also a way of establishing a virtual connection for people to attend concerts and sporting events at the Hard Rock Stadium if they are unable to attend IRL.

“We wanted to create something that was beyond belief. We wanted to experience a different type of world but make access to the city a little bit easier for our residents.” Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris said to Local 10.
