As of writing this, Subtropical Storm Nicole doesn't pose as much of a threat to Miami, but it's still going to be bringing us a lot of heavy rain.
A state of emergency has been declared in Palm Beach county, and nine emergency shelters are opening up. School is also cancelled for Wednesday and Thursday.
A Hurricane Warning is issued from Boca Raton to the Flagler/Volusia County Line. A Hurricane Watch is in effect for Hallandale Beach to Boca Raton.
There is also a possibility that Nicole will also bring category 1 like winds to Florida once it makes landfall on Thursday.
In case you missed it, Frankie also wrote a blog on where you can get sandbags in SoFlo ahead of the storm.
Stay safe out there!
