TOMORROW is Give Miami Day!

Give Miami Day is a 24 hour online fundraising event founded by the Miami Foundation, where you can help support a bunch of local non-profit organizations. They've has verified over 1000 organizations, so you can be sure that your donation will be going to a good cause. Last year, the day brought in its highest dollar amount raised - $33 million!

Here are some of the places we've checked out that would be great to donate to! You should also take a look at the official Give Miami Day website to see all the charities needing funding.

Biscayne Bay Recovery Fund - The Biscayne Bay Recovery fund aims to protect, preserve and restore Biscayne Bay. They host community and educational programs regarding the bay as well.

Feeding South Florida - Feeding South Florida provides meals for people in need, and 98% of donations going to them are given back to the community!

The Alliance for LGBTQ Youth - The Alliance for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Youth provides mental health and care coordination services, leadership development, and policy advocacy for LGBTQ youth in South Florida.

Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation -  Nicklaus Children's Hospital is South Florida's only freestanding children's hospital. Donations help provide care to children in need.

Tri-County Humane Society - The Tri-County Animal Rescue is a non-profit, 100% no-kill animal shelter working to home cats and dogs all throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

Another charity I personally love is Redland Rockpit Abandoned Dogs! I've worked with them before, and the last event we held we raised over $2000 for them. Check them out too!
