You don't see this every single day! A Burmese python estimated to be over 15 feet long was seen crossing a road in Everglades National Park.
Someone captured the video and posted it onto Instagram, and called it her "favorite wildlife sighting of the new year".
After the video was recorded, they pinned the location of the python and reported it to the authorities.
BTW - if you didn't know, pythons are an invasive species here in South Florida. Wildlife officials say that they became invasive in the state after they were brought in as pets and abandoned in the wild by their owners.
Obviously, if you see a snake in the wild (especially one this large!), don't interact with it. Be safe!
