Disney World’s Splash Mountain is officially closed for renovations.

The last ride at the Magic Kingdom attraction was yesterday night.

The ride will remain closed until it undergoes renovations to turn into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is set to debut in 2024.

Splash Mountain will be replaced both at Disney World here in Florida, and at Disneyland in California.

The updated ride takes place after the "final kiss", and will showcase "Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.", according to a Disney Parks blog post from 2020.

Excited to see how this one turns out!
