First we have the Flo Rida lawsuit, and now this?
If you've ever purchased a Celsius energy drink, regardless of what kind -- you could be eligible to claim up to $250.
A new class action lawsuit has been taken against the energy drink company that claims that Celsius is misleading their customers into thinking that there were no preservatives added to the drinks, as the can describes the drink as "containing 'no preservatives'".
However, the drinks list citric acid as one of the ingredients, which happens to be a preservative.
If you've purchased a Celsius between Jan 1, 2015, and Nov 23, 2022, you can submit a claim.
According to this website, if your claim is approved and you have a valid receipt of purchase, you can get up to $250. But if you don't have a receipt, the max you can get is $20 (but in this economy, who can say no to $20?!).
The deadline to submit a claim is Feb. 13, 2023.
