I came across this in my newsfeeds today, and this has to be the coolest thing I've seen today.
A South Florida fisherman caught what he believes to be one of the largest Bull sharks in Florida, and this thing looks HUGE!
Michael Hengel, 22, said he landed the giant Bull shark off North Beach on Sunday night.
After taking its measurements (9 1/2 feet long with a 55-inch girth), he estimated that it weighed around 550 pounds -- but didn't actually weigh the shark as it would've meant he had to kill it.
Instead, he released the shark shortly after snapping a pic with it, as he's a conservationist.
Currently, the record for the largest Bull shark ever caught weighs 517 pounds. Still a pretty cool story though!
