Got a cute one for your Friday -- The Lion Country Safari has welcomed a new rare baby chimpanzee!

Lili was born on January 28th at the West Palm Beach safari park. She is the second baby chimpanzee to be born at the park! Her name Tonkolili Chimpanzee Project, a conservation initiative in Sierra Leone.

She's been taken care of for the past month of her life on the dl, but she's made her official debut today at the park for visitors to see her in all her glory.

Lili being born is a huge deal, as chimpanzees are critically endangered, and it's incredibly rare for them to be born in the wild. Luckily, the Lion Country Safari is giving her and the 17 other chimpanzees that live in the safari park the best possible care they can recieve!

You can see Lili and all of her other siblings/family members, and other animal species at the Lion Country Safari Park. Get your tickets here.
