From what we know, season 2 picks up right where season 1 left off, right after Hannah's suicide. It will apparently go into the healing process that the student are undergoing following the tragic events but there is now a new twist. Polaroids are discovered that were apparently part of a conspiracy to cover up the truth behind Hannah Baker's death.
