Jimmy Fallon Speaks At Stoneman Douglas Graduation

posted by Frankie P -

Host of the "Tonight Show" Jimmy Fallon surprised the graduating class of Stoneman Douglas and gave the commencement speech this past Sunday to a private ceremony at the BB&T center.

He started off his speech with, "Today you're graduating from high school, you should feel incredibly proud of yourselves. That doesn't mean you should rest on your laurels — or your yannys." 😂

Without ruining the rest of the speech I will say that Fallon was the perfect person to invite to do this after the tradgedy that struck this community. He kept his speech funny and positive and commended the students saying "You are not just the future—you are the present. Keep changing the world. Keep making us proud."

Congratulations Marjory Stoneman Douglas Class of 2018! You are not just the future - you are the present. Keep changing the world. Keep making us proud. #MSDStrong #YouAreThePresent
