By now everyone has been.. uhhh.. surprised I guess by IHOP revealing why they changed their name to "IHOB"
Turns out they are now the International House Of Burgers... 😐
I guess it was a genius marketing plan on their behalf to sell more burgers because obviously we're talking about it but idk if they thought about the possibility of other restaurants totally trolling them.
Everyone from Wendy's to Burger King and even artists have all participated in roasting IHOP!
Remember when you were like 7 and thought changing your name to Thunder BearSword would be super cool?— Wendy's (@Wendys) June 11, 2018
Like that, but our cheeseburgers are still better.
We are excited to announce that we will be switching our name to Pancake Castle.— White Castle (@WhiteCastle) June 11, 2018
We've worked really hard for like 100 years to get people to remember our brand name so if it's cool with everyone we're just going to stick with MoonPie thank you— MoonPie (@MoonPie) June 11, 2018
Dear internet thanks to everyone asking me this but no not every brand is having an identity crisis so I'm gonna stick to Pop-Tarts https://t.co/L6NsUR6WP9— Pop-Tarts (@PopTartsUS) June 11, 2018
Actually I might have kinda gotten caught up in the hype myself 😅

Oh and the roasting wasn't only reserved for places who served food and petty Radio Personalities. Diplo and Life In Color also joined in 🙈

Still the most savage tweet I've seen in response to the name change is from Wendy's!
Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.— Wendy's (@Wendys) June 11, 2018
