News anchors in Chicago received a letter from a viewer saying that nobody cares for them thanking their field reporters.
"... I'm NOT a fan of anchors saying THANK YOU to EVERY reporter after report. PLEASE STOP THANKING REPORTERS! It's their job.
Just move on and start reading the next story. We as viewers COULD NOT CARE if anchors feel the need to be over polite to field reporters."
