It seems Disney and Sony couldn't come to an agreement so Spiderman will probably be leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe for all upcoming movies.
According to Deadline the departure of Spidey from MCU comes from an inability by Disney and Sony Pictures to reach an agreement on money basically...
Although it's not officially announced the decision will pretty much remove Tom Holland’s Spider-Man from MCU for the upcoming two more films that were supposed to include Holland and director John Watts.
Apparently Disney and Sony had been in talks for a few months now but this seems to be the final decision all because Disney asked that the future Spiderman films have a 50/50 co-financing arrangement between them and Sony.
Sony wanted to keep the previous deal which had Marvel receiving 5% of first dollar gross.
