Millennials are now drinking more than ever before and it turns out it's because we're struggling to cope with things like parenting!
Back in 2013 the average millennial put down 24 alcoholic drinks a month.
Now, six years later, that average millennial is downing up to 29 drinks (which personally doesn't seem like that much)
Basically a drink a day or like 3-4 drinks on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (you know for football season or brunch with the squad)
That's a BIG difference according to experts so now the question is why?
According to one alcohol industry expert, it's probably because millennials are PARENTS now . . . so they're drinking to deal with the stress.
I would've said student loans and daily existential crisis when our IG posts don't get enough likes but yeah parenting too...
