A coach disarms a student with a shotgun then hugs him until the police arrive.
Back in May, a teen showed up at Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon with a shotgun.
The video, which was just released, shows the football coach disarming the teen.
He then immediately handed the shotgun to someone else and gave the teen a long hug, holding him even when the student tried to pull away. Students were screaming and running out of a classroom. The coach held onto him until the police arrived.
The teen was sentenced to 36 months of probation and given substance abuse and mental health treatment after bringing the gun to school.
Investigators determined that the teen did not have the intent to hurt anyone other than himself at the school. The poor boy had apparently been suicidal for months and made suicidal remarks that day to a student.
