A Popeye's employee was caught making chicken sandwiches on top of a trashcan in the kitchen
TMZ obtained images of an employee at a Fairfax, Virginia Popeyes scrambling to put together chicken sandwiches but instead of using the counter the employee put a try on top of an open trash bin and used that as his work station....
The makeshift station was in the customers' line of sight, resulting in these pictures.
The owner of the location says that apparently they were hit with a 100 sandwich order and they were struggling to get them done in a timely manner. There was also no space for all these sandwiches to be made AND the owner also says that the employee was a recent hire (who basically didn't know any better.)
Oh and his final excuse is "the trash can was empty"
After the picture surfaced, he ordered a brand new table that reportedly arrived at the location on Monday.
