A new survey reveals the safest and least safe cities in America and one of these cities is here in South Florida....
Wallet Hub just ranked the 182 biggest cities in the U.S. from the safest to least safe.
The rankings are based on 41 factors, including things like terrorist attacks, mass shootings, murders, traffic deaths, natural disaster risk, identity theft, and job security.
Based on all of that information they've determined that the safest city in the country is . . . Columbia, Maryland.
The rest of the top 10 are:
- Yonkers
- New York
- Plano, Texas
- Gilbert, Arizona
- South Burlington, Vermont
- Virginia Beach, Virginia
- Bismarck, North Dakota
- Nashua, New Hampshire
- Chandler, Arizona
- Warwick, Rhode Island.
The least safe city in the country is . . . St. Louis but here are the other cities at the bottom 10 of that list:
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- San Bernardino, California
- Detroit
- Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Little Rock, Arkansas
- Birmingham, Alabama
- Oklahoma City
- Memphis
- Jackson, Mississippi.
