Do You Have To Go To Work During The Coronavirus Outbreak?

If you're job is not considered "essential" you do not have to go to work and here's what you can do if you're being forced to come in.

An attorney says if your local government defines your role as an “essential,” you may have to comply with your employer's wishes or risk termination.

But if your boss is pressuring you to come in and your workplace is at high-risk for coronavirus and not “essential” you can file a confidential safety and health complaint and request an OSHA inspection.

The lawyer also says your work is required by law to let you know if someone tested positive but they can’t let your know who that person is.
